World Aids Day, 2021
PFLAG and partners hosted a panel of the AIDS Memorial Quilt at the Equality Community Center, December 2021.
This is an important time for our community to come together to honor our friends, family, and loved ones who have passed from HIV/AIDS, but also to support and encourage those who are still living with or impacted by this disease.
In December 2021, Frannie Peabody Center partnered with PFLAG Portland and the Equality Community Center organizations to exhibit a portion of the National AIDS Memorial Quilt, which includes the panel of Cameron Duncan, one of Maine’s most prominent AIDS activists.
